Nov 12, 2008 · I would like to use outlook for my calendar, emails, notes, etc. But I can't get it to sync with yahoo. Is there a way to make this happen? I want to see the information on my outlook (emails/folders) as I see them directly in yahoo.

Mail system did not work properly for some users, so I removed exim and installed postfix/dovecot according to this German tutorial. Everything works fine. I connected with Thunderbird using the old users, successfully. I was able to see old mails as they were still sitting in INBOX. However, any attempt to receive new mails failed.

Sent messages are automatically copied to the Gmail/Sent folder if your email client uses SMTP. Save draft messages on the server if you want your drafts to show when you open Gmail on the web. Deleting. Don't save deleted messages on the server. You can find messages you delete from an IMAP folder in your "All Mail" label in Gmail.

- Messages content in folders is another question. I don't have a good solution, but you could move all the messages back (perhaps a folder at a time) to the inbox, then download them and move them to outlook folders. ps: trueswitch is going going .... gone on June 30.

If I go into the pop sent folder find the message, right click, and then move it to the imap sent folder myself (without using the rule to do this) it works and it will appear on the other computers.

Basically, you’ll need to stick to the first option: install both sync folders on your computer and copy everything from one to the other. I've been trying this over the past couple days to get the address books on my home and work computers synced. So far it's worked quite well. It does true two-way sync, and although Plaxo's online service does not appear to offer group listings, the groups do, in fact, transfer to/from AddressBook.
