Gradescope late penalty

Programs are to be submitted to Gradescope by the due date. You may work alone or in groups of two. Programs submitted up to 24 hours late will still be accepted but incur a 10% grade penalty. Uploading your programs to gradescope will immediately score your submission. Your program grade will be th without penalty. Upload your solutions to Gradescope by 9 am on Monday (10/5). During your presentation time, you will be asked to explain your thought process and reasoning on one randomly assigned question. Late solutions are available thru 2 pm with a 5% penalty (smaller penalties if you can document that this is a revision and only minor changes). All assignments are due at 11:59pmon the due date (usually Mondays). There are no late days. Late submissions incur a penalty of 10% for each day, up to a maximum of 4 days beyond which submissions will not be accepted. The only exception to this rule is if you have a note from your Dean of Studies.

Gradescope questions can be made on Gradescope. Any regrade request past the deadline will not be looked at; this is to enforce the same deadline across all students, so please do not delay in reviewing your work. For the exams, there will be a regrade submission window. Again, it is up to the student to look at the solutions and We will apply the following late penalty: -1 point per minute. This penalty is applied to each question or checkoff independently, so questions and checkoffs that were completed on time will not be penalized, even if other parts of the same lab or exercise were completed late. We will also automatically drop the two lowest problem set grades. This is in addition to the late policy described above. I will drop the lowest two quizzes. For late labs and programming assignments, you will receive a 15% penalty for each day the lab/programming assignment is late (deadlines are strict, and it’s considered a day late even if it’s only late by 1 minute).
